Class Warfare

We should have started with this, but we’ll get to it now.

In a 2006 interview, Warren Buffet said, “There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”

Buffet’s a smart man. He has a broader and deeper understanding of business than probably anyone alive today. There was nothing in the interview to indicate that he was kidding. What prompted that quote was the fact that he had a lower tax burden than anyone in his office.
